Yes, this is exactly what we are offering. The course is designed to take a beginner through to becoming a qualified professional coach. 

We are working hand-in-hand with the ICF towards ACSTH accreditation. The normal process is that each course needs to run for six months before accreditation can be applied for. Upon approval, all graduates of the course will be 'grandfathered' into the course accreditation (and therefore able to apply for ACC accreditation themselves). The ICF works with, and supports us to ensure that the course design and contents meet their standards, and we have been sharing our materials with them already. Sarah Chamberlain has excellent personal experience of getting courses accredited, including with a University, so we are exploiting those skills and insights with this process.

Yes - the course has not only been designed to meet the minimum required hours, it exceeds it. The course is structured to meet ICF synchronous and asynchronous delivery options.

When you complete The Arete Way Coaching Course and have your 100 coaching hours, you will need to apply to the ICF as an individual coach, for ACC accreditation. To do this you will need to have 10 hours coaching from an ICF approved 'Mentor Coach', seven of these hours can take place within a group format and three must be one-to-one. The purpose of these sessions is to ensure that you meet the ICF standards required to become accredited, with the Mentor Coach providing feedback for development and supporting you to get a recorded coaching session to the necessary standards for submission (as is required as part of the accreditation process). Again, we will support you through this process.

The ACC, PCC and MCC are the hierarchical levels of ICF accreditation for individual coaches and pertain to the number of hours of coaching you as a coach have conducted. You can apply for PCC or MCC without first getting ACC, if you have sufficient coaching experience. However, you need to have completed an ICF accredited course for all, which is exactly what we are doing (subject to the full approval process as explained above). As such, in these terms our course meets the requirements for all levels, you just need to build up your hours if you wish as an individual coach to gain a higher accredited status with the ICF. It is usual to have ACC accreditation and then apply for the higher accreditation as you build up your skills.

This is one of the seven blocks (modules) of learning on the course, which outlines Andy's specific and unique approach to coaching. It sits firmly within our course, but separate from the core ICF competencies. It is not accredited by any formal body, but does give that extra insight and learning and would, as such, qualify you to work alongside Andy should that opportunity arise.
